Quick response to my on line requests and symptoms. Triaged quickly and had telepne appt and follow up with Dr. Very efficient service and easy on line communication of symptoms with clinic. All requests on line are reviewed by a dr . This is much better than the old system which was very hit and miss. Very pleased with the service from Friern Barnet Medical Centre.

I felt like I was seen as a person, not a number. They looked up from the keyboard (which is a sad benchmark)and seemed genuinely empathetic. I was worried that I would be dismissed as my symptoms are not leading to an easy, standard diagnosis. I left the practice feeling heard, and that action will be taken.

I have always received excellent care at Friern Barnet Medical Centre. I have been offered very quick appointments after completing the online form so have never had an issue with their response. The reception staff are nice and helpful, and appreciate this in such a busy environment. The reception area is spacious and clean, with clear information on the notice boards with various offers and advice. The GPs are great too. I alwaya feel listened too, have never felt rushed during my appointments and I have always felt supported. I highly recommend this surgery.

I had a very positive experience Dr. Ava Tahvili. She was extremely kind, professional and compassionate throughout my appointment. She took the time to listen carefully to my concerns about my lower back pain and explained my condition in detail in a way that was clear and easy to understand. I really appreciated how thorough she was and how she explained each step of the assessment and treatment, which made me feel reassured and well looked after. It is clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to provide excellent care. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring and professional GP.

I did not want antidepressants. I know I was in trauma and grief after my sister's suicide, my instincts was that drugs were not the answer I did not want to supress or deny my feelings but I needed help navigating them as I was in overwhelm and despair. The talking therapy I had was second to none and pulled me out of a black hole where I contemplated suicide myself many times to a place of inner peace and acceptance

When I arrived at the G.P. the receptionist was friendly and helpful. In the consultation room the Doctor would first listen to my concerns, then clarify my doubts and mistakes, and finally explain the treatment to follow clearly and the reasons behind his decision.
