Opening hours:
The Surgery Telephone lines are open between 8:30 am – 6:30 pm Mon to Fri. The lines are closed between 1-2 pm. The doors open at 8 a.m. to collect forms and prescriptions and drop off samples.

We accept residents living within 1 mile of the practice
We strictly only accept registrations between 10:30 am and 5 pm

Barnet Social Prescribing Self Referral Update:
We are excited to announce that we are offering a patient self referral route to speak to one of the surgeries social prescribers. Social Prescribers are non-medical professionals who are trained to listen and offer short term support to adults (18+) to help them focus on what matters most to them right now and connect them to appropriate local community organisations or groups for further follow up.

The receptionist is always been pleasant and patient. It is difficult to get an appointment with doctors but the receptionist has always explained the procedure and is patient and gives whatever choice of appointment is available. Despite being extremely busy with patients and the phone continually ringing, I am so pleased when this receptionist answers the phone as she is never in a hurry and never seems ruffles. She is an asset to the medical centre.

I have been registered with this practice for many years and have always been impressed with the staff and in particular the Doctors who have dealt with me in a highly professional way. All doctors are sympathetic and do there very best to help with medical issues.

Fantastic team, thank you very much for looking after my family. The doctor and his team of Dr's, nurses and reception staff are always very pleasant. Although it can be hard to get a non-emergency appt they do understand if its something more serious and will find you an appt. One particular nurse is wonderful and the suite of Dr's are always very knowledgeable. It is a very busy centre but the NHS is very under appreciated and it can be a thankless task at times.

Friern Barnet Medical Centre is a true asset to community. My wife, my children and I first registered at this clinic in the year 1983. This clinic has grown marvellously since then with confidence and a spirit of dedicated service. Today it has turned into a modern outfit providing invaluable medical care and attention to all those in need of medical assistance. Friern Barnet Medical Centre is administered most efficiently with knowledgeable doctors, nurses and administrative staff. They are exceptionally helpful, polite and punctual. Patents are seen within appointed time. The clinic recently expanded to create more clinical room and modernised itself in step with the benefits of modern technology. It continues to serve admirably despite the overwhelming demand of increasing number of patients. Friern Barnet Medical Centre is a glowing face of the National Health Service. Anybody can serve but to serve with love and devotion is the crowning glory of mankind. We have kept utmost faith in the National Health Service. Our faith has not wavered or diminished in any way. We sincerely wish that NHS remains one of the most edifying cornerstones of the United Kingdom. I have to say that we have been very well looked after by the clinic all these years. We wish the clinic all success in the years to come.
